PTC Sites

What is a PTC site?  These are sites that pay you to look at ads for other sites that are almost always trying to get you to join some other PTC site, or online money making scheme.  For example, you click on an advertisement, wait 10-45 seconds, and are credited with usually .03 to 2 cents each time.

These sites are mindless and require absolutely nothing but time.  Will you get rich?  No chance.  I don't care what anyone says, you aren't making a living off these sites.  If you but the tiniest bit of effort into it, you can usually make $1-5 a month.  If you PUT effort into it, you are looking at $10 a month and up.  Making money is all about getting referrals.  All these sites you see talking about various sites are that person's attmept to get referrals (mine too).  Very few people put up sites like these because they enjoy the topic!

So if you are creative enough to put out the effort to get referrals, go for it.  You might make a few extra dollars a month.  If you are too lazy, skip past these sites, because you are wasting your time.  Here are my reviews of a few sites I have experienced....


Neobux- I had a miserable experience with them.  I was chugging along reviewing my ads and getting referrals until I neared the minimum payout needed for withdrawal.  Once I did, I was unable to log into my account for a month.  No matter which computer or browser I used, it wouldn't load.  Miraculously, after 30 days I could get back in.  Once you fail to log in after thirty days, you lose all money accrued.

I posted something about this in their forum and my account was banned.  All in all, it was a complete waste of my time.  I give this site horrible marks and they should be ashamed for their deceitful methods.

Hits4Pay- This was the first PTC I ever did.  I was instantly successful at getting referrals and was satisfied with the ads coming in for me to view.  However, after I tried to cash out, I was unsuccessful at getting paid.  There was always a problem with my paypal or some other excuse.  I gave up for nearly 2 years. Then I decided to give it another try and was even successful at getting my old funds.  For that I was surprised and impressed.

However, after I decide to get going again, I got almost zero paid ads to read.  Not only do I not make anything from reading ads, but it is pointless for me to recruit since I won't be making a commission off them either.  Really it is not worth joining until they can improve the volume of paid ads to read.  You do get a very nice $10 bonus for joining, but you must wait until you accru $25 to withdraw it

Clix Sense- Of the PTC sites I have used on a regular basis, this is my favorite.  It is very easy to use and user friendly.  Sites such as LinkGrand, PalmBux and others make you go though a lot of unnecessary steps and pay less.  I was paid immediately upon reaching my required minimum ($10) by check.  You can also be paid electronically.

The most aggravating thing about other similar sites is the pay.  Most give you around .03 per ad.  Giving you a few a day and you are basically waisting your time.  Clix Sense pays 1 or 2 cents per ad.  As a premium member you will get half a dozen or so ads per day.  Not a windfall, but definitely an improvement.

In order to make money at Clix Sense you need to do two things.  First, you need to be a premium member.  This makes recruiting worthwhile and also gives you a LOT more ads to view.  At $10, it is a great deal because they give you many hundreds of ads to view free just for joining.  Plus every day you will receive a few ads those on the basic plan do not get.

Second, you will get 10 cents per person who signs up under you once they read at least one ad.  This is a great way to make money if you can recruit.  The bottom line with ANY of these type of sites is recruiting.  Nobody is going to pay you any measurable amount of money for reading ads alone.  You need to recruit.  If you are not willing to do that, then it may not be worth your time.  But if you use Clix Sense and a few others combined, you can make some decent pocket change.  I average around $15 a month from Clix Sense.
